Today I was given the "Sink or Swim" award at the NARPM Phoenix Metro chapter meeting for my role as acting President for the year 2016. At the beginning of the year I was elected to the role of President-Elect where I would have been given the entire year to learn the role of President for my 2017 term; but when the current President stood down early in the year due to some personal reasons, I filled in as acting President. Many have thanked me for the success of the chapter but I have been emphatic that the entire Board of Directors played a key role for the chapters success. I look forward to being the official 2017 President and serving the property management community that has given me so much.
